Fixing of paintings

There are two kind of support blocks with which the painting can be fixed into the Turtle. They are corner-blocks, which can be fitted onto the corners of the frame, and L-blocks, which can support, for example, oval frames. Both types are designed with two different foam-strengths, recognizable by colour, to support heavy-weighted paintings as well as light-weighted paintings.

Heavy-weighted paintings need some more counterweight than light-weighted paintings. This counterweight can be created by using support blocks which are made of heavier foam. These support blocks can not be used for light-weighted paintings because the vibration caused by a shock due to weight difference disturbs the vibration scale instead of absorbing the vibration. The counterweight will counteract for the light-weighted painting. The black blocks are composed of the heavier LD-foam.
